Why blockchain
On-chain registration is planned and not active. No IveVex work has been minted. Every ownership record issued to date exists in our own register and in the certificate we issue. We will say so plainly on this page on the day that changes.
The problem we are solving
A certificate is only as durable as the party that can verify it. If IveVex is unreachable in fifteen years, a holder should still be able to demonstrate that a specific record existed on a specific date. Writing a reference and a cryptographic fingerprint of the record to a public chain solves precisely that problem and no other.
What we would publish
What blockchain does not mean here
It does not mean a token you can trade. It does not mean a wallet you must connect. It does not mean an asset class, a yield mechanism or a market position. We do not list works on marketplaces, do not quote floor prices, and do not encourage anyone to buy in the expectation of selling. If you are looking for speculative exposure, IveVex is not the right place to spend your money.
Why not sooner
Publishing a record permanently is a decision that cannot be reversed. Before we do it we want a settled data model, a documented process for corrections that cannot be made on-chain, clarity on which network we commit to long-term, and legal review in the jurisdictions where our customers live. Shipping it early to appear technically current would be the wrong trade.
Until then
Verification runs through us. Email a certificate reference to hi@ivevex.com and we confirm in writing within two business days what the register holds. The mechanics are described on Certificates explained.
