Sanctions Policy

IveVex does not do business with sanctioned persons, entities or territories. This policy explains the standards we apply and what we do when a match is identified.

Applicable regimes

We observe the sanctions and restrictive measures applicable to our operations and to our payment provider, including measures adopted by the United Nations, the European Union, Norway, the United Kingdom and the United States (OFAC). Where regimes differ, we apply the strictest applicable standard.

Prohibited dealings

• Any person or entity on an applicable restricted-party list, or owned or controlled by one.
• Any person acting on behalf of such a person or entity.
• Purchases from, or delivery to, a comprehensively sanctioned territory.
• Any transaction designed to evade or circumvent sanctions.

Screening

Card and wallet payments are screened by our regulated payment provider as part of its own sanctions compliance programme. IveVex applies additional checks where a transaction presents elevated risk, including review of buyer details, geolocation signals and payment origin.

If a match is identified

We will decline or halt the transaction, withhold or void any certificate issued, retain the relevant records, and where legally required freeze the funds and notify the competent authority. We will not proceed with a purchase while a potential match is unresolved.

Customer undertaking

By completing a purchase you confirm that you are not a restricted party, are not acting for one, and are not located in a comprehensively sanctioned territory. Providing false information is a breach of our Terms of Service.
