We search for moments history left in the margins, then give them a form that can be seen, felt and owned. Each work is drawn, numbered and signed by the studio, with an edition cap fixed from its first day.

You are not simply choosing an image. You are preserving a fragment of human memory and becoming part of the small circle entrusted with it.

Studio-made

Every work begins inside the IveVex studio, from historical research to the final signed release. Nothing is selected from a third-party feed.

Fixed supply

Edition caps are fixed before release and never expanded. When the final share finds an owner, that chapter closes forever.

Documented ownership

Your numbered certificate records the exact work, edition and shares you hold, preserving your place in the story for the future.

Acts of Witness

"When the official record leaves someone out."

History is usually written by those who held the pen. These works recover the documents, signatures and letters of people who refused to be footnotes: Norwegian women erased from the 1905 vote, a balloon-borne letter from besieged Paris, a Mexican revolutionary nurse's testimony. Each piece is an act of remembering.

Objects That Survived

"What remains can speak for what was lost."

A Goryeo celadon vessel, a watch stopped by an earthquake, a Venetian choir book lifted from floodwater. Objects outlive empires, but only if someone protects them. This collection treats each surviving thing as a witness in its own right.

Divided Archives

"Buried, divided, rediscovered."

Some archives are broken by borders, buried by disaster or hidden by design. A manuscript split by Partition, porcelain shattered for imperfection, a lost Amazon map - here absence itself becomes the subject, and what returns is never exactly what was taken.

Knowledge in the Hand

"An instrument can outlive the name of its maker."

The astrolabes of al-Ijliya and the lost-wax casters of Igun Street prove that intelligence often survives through the discipline of making. These works honour the anonymous masters whose tools carried memory forward when written history forgot their names.

On this piece.Tokyo, 1923. A watch stopped at the minute the Great Kantō earthquake began rests beside a repaired bowl-one records rupture, the other the choice to live visibly with it.

Origin.A Goryeo celadon vessel, a watch stopped in the Kantō earthquake and a Venetian choir book lifted from floodwater hold three civilizations at their most fragile.

Inspiration.The artifact is the protagonist: isolated, tactile and lit like evidence recovered from darkness.

On this piece.Aleppo, tenth century. Al-Ijliya built astrolabes precise enough to hold the moving sky in brass. Almost nothing of her life remains; the instrument preserves her intelligence.

On this piece.Mexico, 1914. Leonor Villegas de Magnón organised La Cruz Blanca and documented women pushed outside the revolution's official frame. Her letter becomes an act of witness.

Origin.Three quiet documents carry voices history nearly reduced to footnotes: Norway's excluded women, letters flown from besieged Paris and a Mexican revolutionary nurse's testimony.

Inspiration.Paper, ink and fragile objects become monuments. Each scene is grounded in a documented act rather than a famous composition.

A voice that outwaited the ice

The Icebound Sermon

The record.In the winter of 1898, a Norwegian sealing expedition froze fast in the pack ice off Svalbard. The ship's chaplain, whose name never appeared in the official log, kept a private notebook of sermons addressed not to his crew but to the ice itself - written as if the frozen sea were a congregation that would carry his words north when no one returned. The ship came home. The notebook was found between his bunk planks in 1962.

The work.Our reconstruction follows the surviving pages: faded iron-gall ink, margins crowded with the coordinates of drift, and one phrase repeated at the end of every entry - we are still here.

The hand behind the map

The Cartographer's Widow

The record.When the Venetian engraver Marco Dell'Oro died in 1712, his workshop kept producing maps of astonishing precision for another nineteen years - signed with his name, corrected in a different hand. His widow, Lucia, had engraved beside him for decades, and the trade guilds of the Serenissima would not license a woman. The copper plates tell the truth: the lines grew finer after his death.

The work.This piece centres one surviving plate, its coastline traced twice - once by the hand history recorded, once by the hand it refused to name.

The Unplayed Symphony

The record.In 1936, a young composer in St Petersburg finished a symphony that censors judged too sorrowful for a triumphant decade. The full score was seized the night before its premiere. She rewrote it from memory, bar by bar, on the backs of factory inventory forms - and hid the manuscript inside the walls of a communal apartment. It surfaced during renovations in 2004. It has still never been performed.

The work.The artwork is built from the reconstructed inventory-form pages: ledger columns beneath stave lines, a symphony held hostage by paperwork, still waiting for its first note.

Provenance you can read

Every piece, on the record.

Real collecting has always been about the paperwork behind the object. We treat digital pieces the same way - a numbered edition, a named studio, a signed certificate and an account you actually control.

On-chain minting is not active today, and we don't pretend otherwise. Ownership is recorded in the studio ledger and evidenced by your certificate. If we introduce on-chain functionality, the terms will be published in advance and participation will be optional.

Edition number

Fixed on release. Printed on your certificate. Never reissued.

Studio signature

Every certificate carries the studio mark. Forgeries have nothing to imitate.

Ownership record

Lives in your IveVex account. Portable to a wallet when on-chain launches.
