How this actually works
How purchases work
Each piece is released in a fixed number of numbered editions. Each edition is divided into a fixed number of shares. You choose how many shares you want, up to the number still available. The gallery, current pricing and checkout are open to everyone. A partner code is optional and, when supplied during checkout, attributes the purchase to that partner.
If you buy more shares than remain in the current edition, the surplus is allocated to the next numbered edition of the same piece, and your confirmation shows the exact edition range you hold. Nothing is oversold: allocation happens against live availability at the moment payment is confirmed.
Edition counts and share counts are set when a collection is published and are not changed afterwards. We do not re-open sold-out editions and we do not run open editions.
How ownership works
A share is a documented co-ownership record in a specific numbered edition of a specific work, maintained by the studio. It records the holder, the piece, the edition number, the number of shares held and the resulting percentage of that edition.
Copyright and all other intellectual-property rights in the artwork remain with the studio. Holding a share does not transfer copyright and does not grant commercial licensing, reproduction or resale rights in the underlying work.
How certificates work
Every successful purchase produces a certificate with a unique certificate number in the format IV-YYYY-XXXX-XXXX. The certificate is generated at the moment the purchase is recorded and stored immutably in our ledger alongside the buyer details, the share count, the edition range and the payment reference.
The certificate is shown on screen after checkout, can be downloaded or printed as a PDF, and can be re-issued by support using the same certificate number. Re-issuing does not create a new record - it prints the existing one.
How payments work
The applicable price and settlement currency are shown clearly before payment. Payment is taken at checkout through our payment provider; card details are entered directly with the provider and are never stored on IveVex systems.
Shares are allocated and the certificate is issued once the provider confirms payment. If a charge succeeds but allocation fails - for example due to a technical error - the affected amount is refunded in full. See the Refund Policy.
What you receive
What you do not receive
- No security, share in the company, unit, fund interest or other financial instrument.
- No expectation, projection or guarantee of financial return.
- No dividend, yield, revenue share or profit participation.
- No copyright, trademark or commercial licence in the artwork.
- No on-chain token: blockchain minting is not currently active.
- No access to a secondary market - IveVex does not operate one and does not broker resales.
- No physical object, unless a specific release states otherwise.
- No custody, exchange, wallet or money-transmission service.
Purchases are not investments
We want this unambiguous. An IveVex share is a discretionary purchase of art. It is not offered, marketed or sold as an investment product, and it is not a security or financial instrument. Nothing on this site is financial, tax or legal advice.
The value of a digital artwork is subjective and may be nil. You should buy only an amount you are comfortable spending on art, and only because you want the work.
Blockchain status
On-chain minting and public blockchain verification are not active. Ownership today is recorded in the studio's own ledger and evidenced by the certificate. If we introduce on-chain functionality, the terms and any fees will be published in advance and existing holders will be notified. We do not display transaction hashes, wallet activity or on-chain statistics that do not exist.
What we do not publish
We do not publish customer testimonials, press logos, collector counts, sales totals, floor prices or valuation charts. If you see a number on this site, it is either a price we charge, an edition size we set, or a live figure clearly labelled with its source and time of retrieval.
